Front Line Collingwood Foundation - Home

WHO WE ARE:

Born out of the hugely successful Titz' n Glitz 2002 event, Front Line Collingwood Foundation (FLCF) was incorporated to assist breast cancer patients who require financial assistance.

A registered charitable organization, the FLCF provides short term financial support for breast cancer patients with expenses relating to personal care, homemaking, housing, child care, transportation, nursing, medical assistance, counselling, equipment and emergency incidentals.

Focusing on the Georgian Triangle area, the FLCF aims to direct its funds without undue red tape and delay , to those with a demonstrated financial need who are undergoing breast cancer treatment and require short-term financial assistance.

Also for exercise we recommend this Physiotherapy Bedford clinic which has done wonders when it comes to staying fit

WHAT WE HAVE DONE:

To date, the FLCF has financially assisted all applicants and made substantial donations to hospitals in Collingwood, Barrie and Owen Sound.

WHERE IS FRONT LINE COLLINGWOOD FOUNDATION LOCATED:

Headquartered in Collingwood, the FLCF serves Georgian Triangle residents AND the medical practitioners in that area.   This means that a person could be eligible for assistance if they live outside the Georgian Triangle as long as their doctor practices within the Triangle.

HOW WE'VE HELPED THE GEORGIAN TRIANGLE:

The FLCF is set up to catch breast cancer patients who fall through the cracks of traditional aid organizations.

Working with health care professionals and social workers, the FLCF helps to identify and directly fund patients who require temporary financial assistance.

The FLCF has made breast cancer awareness a topic of conversation among men and women, among health-care and social service professionals and most importantly, has empowered women to take charge of their own health.
